Teaching

I am passionate about teaching and training the next generation of leaders. A few highlights of my teaching are listed below: 

  • I co-instructed DSCI 303: Data Science for Machine Learning in Fall 2019 at Rice University. I designed the lectures, problem sets and final projects; supervised and evaluated students; and facilitated two guest lectures on emerging data science applications in imaging and online content monitoring.
  • I have served as a Teaching Assistant for six semesters for courses on signal processing (ELEC 631), computer vision (ELEC 543), and computational photography (ELEC 549) during my PhD at Rice University.
  • I have designed a Linear Regression course module as part of PATHS-UP’s educational outreach initiative (https://pathsup.org/workforce-development/k-12/). The full module is available below:
